Prof. Jihae Park Leads Marine Smart Farm Camp for Students
[Songdo, 2025 Apr-Dec] — Prof. Jihae Park secured the “Marine Smart Farm Camp” project from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education. Through this program, students explore Korea’s tidal flats, blue carbon’s role in climate response, and the blue economy, with engaging theory and hands-on learning such as light properties and photosynthesis. GUGC Wins KEIT Grant for Sustainable Seaweed Fiber Platform
[Songdo, 22 August 2025] — On August 22, 2025, Prof. Jihae Park (Environmental Technology, GUGC) secured a major grant from KEIT (Korea Evaluation Institute of Industrial Technology) for the project “Sustainable Fiber Platform from Seaweed Resources.” This achievement builds on the Joint Research Center for Seaweed-Based Biofibers, inaugurated with Fashion Group Hyungji in June, which committed 1 billion KRW to the initiative.
